Dispute Resolution

James Waghorn BSc DipArb MRICS FCIArb is an RICS panel Arbitrator and Independent Expert and is regularly appointed by the President of the RICS to resolve rent review disputes on a range of property types. James also accepts private appointments from the parties or their professional advisors and can act as Arbitrator under the Professional Arbitration on Court Terms (PACT) scheme or as Independent Expert, in respect of lease renewal disputes.

When not appointed as dispute resolver, James can act as an Expert Witness on behalf of landlords or tenants in presenting valuation evidence to Arbitrators and Independent Experts in rent review disputes. Furthermore James has experience of presenting evidence and being cross-examined in Court (including The High Court) as Expert Witness or as a Single Joint Expert on a number of contentious property matters.
